This is one of our several favorite subdivisions in North Scottsdale. We consider ourselves fortunate to have watched this subdivision grow while stopping for lunch in Grayhawk’s Quill Creek Café during the construction of our home in Sincuidados.
Begun in 1996, Grayhawk, a family-friendly master-planned community, offers a wide range of neighborhoods with diverse housing throughout this walkable community built on more than 1,600 acres. The neighborhoods are surrounded by the beautiful Sonoran Desert vegetation and trees.
Grayhawk offers its residents more than 4,000 residential units with access to public and private schools, parks, more than 30 miles of multi-use trails, shopping and dining centers, a medical campus with Scottsdale Shea Thompson Peak Hospital, commercial and office spaces, and a senior living community.
The heart of Grayhawk is the nationally acclaimed public Grayhawk Golf Club which spotlights the Raptor and Talon courses overlooking the awesome views of the Sonoran Desert and mountains. The Grayhawk Golf Club includes a well-stocked golf shop, the main dining room (Quill Creek Café) and the multiple exterior dining patios with incredible views of Pinnacle Peak to the north-east, the 18th green of the Raptor golf course, and the sparkling lake. An adjacent informal dining room known as “Phil’s Grill” which is named after PGA Tour Professional Phil Mickelson is an intimate dining area with exterior patios also overlooking the Raptor course. Chef Jeff is the Chef in residence, and he is the source of wonderfully delicious meals. We began dining in this restaurant shortly after its opening and continue to do so.
Looking for a place to hold a special event? Adjacent to the Grayhawk Golf Club is the Fairway House which offers indoor/outdoor capability with space for 20 to 300 people. Dedicated to the Fairway House is its own fully equipped kitchen, chef, and event staff.
Across the street from the Grayhawk Golf Club and overlooking the Talon golf course is Isabella’s Kitchen restaurant which offers a special rustic Italian focused menu and magnificent 360-views of the Talon course and the valley below.
