Lillian and I have been full time Realtors for 16 years representing Sellers, Buyers and custom builders of “spec” homes in North Scottsdale, Carefree and Cave Creek.
We are members of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialists (CLHMS), Certified International Real Estate Specialists (IRES), and members of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing Million Dollar Guild.
We are members of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Scottsdale Association of Realtors (SAAR), and the Arizona Association of Realtors (AAR).
We focus on the sale of new and resale residential homes and vacant lots for the construction of custom homes. We work with clients from first time home buyers to those individuals who purchase homes (both primary and secondary) in the multi-million dollar range.
Real estate is a “people” business, and we enjoy working with Sellers and Buyers. We excel at providing Red Carpet Service to all of our clients.
Prior to moving to Arizona, we both enjoyed long and distinguished careers working for the U.S. Government. We served with the U.S. Department of State at U.S. embassies, consulates and missions in East Asia and Western Europe. We served in Taipei, Taiwan; Hong Kong; Bangkok, Thailand; and Geneva, Switzerland. We also served at the United States Mission to the United Nations in New York where Lillian was the protocol officer and chief of the protocol office. For many years Dick specialized in arms control issues and counter terrorism.
After taking early retirement, we explored several parts of the United States before deciding to build our retirement home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
While our home was under construction in North Scottsdale, we decided to obtain our real estate licenses. One reason was that Dick had grown up in the construction business with his father and two uncles owning construction and real estate businesses. The other reason was that because we had moved so frequently we understood the stress that is involved in such moves. We felt that this experience would be helpful in our real estate business when working with Buyers and Sellers.
Our hobbies include sightseeing, reading, watching sports and attending events like Barrett Jackson, the collector’s auction at Westworld, in Scottsdale. As former Bostonians, we remain lifelong fans of the Red Sox, the Patriots, the Celtics, and the Bruins. As Scottsdale residents, we became fans of the Diamondbacks, the Cardinals, the Suns, and the Coyotes.
Both of us have been active in our local community as well as in efforts to help preserve our precious Sonoran Desert.
Coming from large families, we realize the importance of giving back to society. To that end, some of our charities are: The Foothills Food Bank located in Cave Creek, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, the Susan B. Komen Fund, the Lost Our Home Pet Rescue Organization, and Sentinels of Freedom Arizona, a non-profit organization that provides transitional services for wounded service members returning home from war. Sentinels of Freedom Arizona was adopted by RE/MAX Excalibur as one of its endorsed charities.
